About
I am a post-doctoral researcher at Oxford University’s Centre for the Environment. This blog started as a space to reflect on an extended trip I made to Sri Lanka from October 2006 to March 2007. Having returned from Sri Lanka I have expanded the remit of the site to encompass more general relfections on issues and events that strike me in my capacity as an academic geographer. I hope to show that geographers have a unique and valuable perspective on contempoary events.
